  • N.K.Pal,M.Tech (IIT Delhi) worked as R & D Manager during 1988 to 1990 and implemented 20 Research Projects of Indian Jute Industries Research Association (IJIRA) with support of Modernisation package programme santioned during Rajiv Gandhi Scheme as MODPACK for jute industries.
  • Enzyme plant was installed and started during the year 1989-90 during the period of Mr. Arun Lohia and Mr.Meghraj Sharma.
  • Modpack projects were done in the following areas: 1) Batching Area : 13 pair softner roller : High Speed stirer for oil-emulsion mixing : Moisture meter controlling device in jute feeding at jute spreader machine 2) Carding Area : Breaker Card - Diagonal feeding : Finisher Card - Installation of Auto-leveller 3) Drawing Area : Auditing of Drawing machine 4) Spinning Area : Auditing of frame 5) Wrap Spinning : under diversified jute product (Fine count jute mfg.) Other projects were done in Winding Zone,Warping zone, Beaming, Weaving, Sack-sewing zone etc. were conducted. Energy auditing was also done.
