  • about 50 yrs back this was a real garden and we used to sit on branches of the trees there and study for the Annual exams .And many of my friends will agree with me when i say that we have carried a part of it in our hearts forever.Especial mention has to be made of the lemon trees and its serpentine branches which were favourites with us and also the snakes! Around 10AM the newspapers arrived from Bombay at the green hotel and we watched its distribution amongst the various vendors. That used to be our break from studies for about 15 mins.
