This 1.03 acre piece land, mostly Ruann Road, is still listed as owned by Bruce B. Dayton, scion of the Dayton family, who donated much of his original, massive estate for the creation of the Wood-Rill SNA and some private development. His main property still exists and sits just west of Wood-Rill and on the shore of Long Lake. Bruce Dayton is grandson of George Dayton, founder of Dayton's (now Target Corp) and father of Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton. This land is one of several remnants adjacent to Wood-Rill and has no assigned address.
