No. 3 Shangxinguang Tunnel on South Xinjiang Railway is 2.754km long. The tunnel goes around for 360°, with the entrance and the exit being approximately on the same vertical line and the elevation difference between the entrance and the exit being more than 50m. The tunnel was completed in July 1981.
