Although this is quite a remote area, you can easily paddle to it from the launch at Violet Cemetery or the Goshen Dam. This is where the Elkhart river splits into several branches. When the water is up it offers enough options that you can generally paddle through without a portage. When the water is low you can expect a few portages. It's not a "Sunday stroll in the park" but it is some fun, challenging and exilerating paddling in a beautiful and secluded area. Have fun!!!
