Lămăşeni is one of the three villages composing Rădăşeni commune. It is located in the western part of the village Radaseni, 3 km from the village Radaseni and 9 km from the city of Falticeni. It is mentioned officially for the first time in Bogdan Voda "Uricul" in 1365 by which the village is given to boyars Rotopan. Lamaseni village has now a population of about 1460 inhabitants. The village has one school with grades 1-8, with 11 working teachers that teach 110 students and 50 Preschool. Cultural home was built in 1970 and was renovated in 1998.
