One of the five Chief Land owning Bunt Families of Moodubelle.Other being Belle Moodumane, Belle Kelamane, Belle Badagumane and Belle Padumane.The members of all the five houses share common ancestry and are collectively known as the ''Belle Manetana Bunt''clan.Two more branches of the clan exist outside Belle they are Mallar Guthu erstwhile feudal lords of Mallar village and Sanoor Guthu ,erstwhile Patels (Administrators)of Sanoor Village .Maintenance and administration of various temples belonging to gods and various spirits in Moodubelle is the collective responsibility of the above mentioned bunt clans
