Palataki (Limenaria)

The building was built in 1903 as part of the German entrepreneur F. Speidel mining activities and projects of the famous Italian architect Pietro Arigoni. It was the Administration Building of mining activities as the reason for building the entire village of Limenaria. The ore from mining the mountain 'Vouves' region reached a small port behind the "Palataki" with trolleys on rails. In that area constructed processing and handling facilities ore ships. In 1941-1944 there is the the Bulgaran commandant quarters and caserne. The entire complex, with subsequent changes made, still preserved in good condition. The business activities of the company lasted until 1912 and continued under another administration after, until the permanent cessation of operations in 1962.
