The SM MoA Eye is the largest and tallest ferris wheel in the Philippines, named after the London Eye, which is one of the largest ferris wheels in the world. Standing 55 metres (160 feet) tall, the MoA Eye had its lighting ceremony on 16 December 2011 and was opened to the public two days later.


The SM MoA Eye has 36 air-conditioned gondolas, 30 of which are classified as "Regular" gondolas, while six are "VIP" gondolas that have tinted glass and specialised seats, among other accessories. Each gondola can carry as much as six passengers, as the SM MoA Eye's capacity is 216 people. One rotation is estimated to last between 10 to 15 minutes.

The rates for the Regular and VIP gondolas are the same at Php150 per person. The SM MoA Eye is open to the public daily from 2:00 pm until Midnight.

Safety Precautions
Safety is the outmost concern especially for theme park rides. To insure safety, the SM MOA EYE management has set up a list of safety precautions for the riding public. Such precautions include:
Children below 3 feet 6 inches should be accompanied by an adult or guardian.

People are advised not to bring with them loose items such as bags, hats, umbrellas etc. during their turn.

Only people with good health conditions are allowed to ride the ferris wheel; pregnant or expectant mothers are advised not to take the ride.

Food and drinks, and pets are NOT allowed inside the gondolas
