For decades this mysterious pond was sealed from the public by barbed-wire fences and plant overgrowth. It was converted into a recreational pond in 2006 and was un-officially named "Gelatin Lake". Wild panfish live in the lake. Swimming in Gelatin Lake is not recommended due to the high levels of garbage thrown into the lake over the decades.
