The estate that had been first mentioned in 1384 belonged to the von Knorrings for a long time in the 19th century. A stately wooden eclectic main building erected in the estate at the end of the 19th century was destroyed in a fire in 2002 (the ruins and a wing have been preserved).
By the historical distribution the manor was in Jüri Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Rae Municipality in Harjumaa County.
