Storforsen –The spectacular Storforsen - The greatest of the free-flowing rapids in Europe.
With a total fall of 82 meters, the rapids at Storforsen are the largest in Europe and by far the most impressive sights in the region. The area around Storforsen is well provided with footpaths and walkways that allow the visitors to look at the rapids safely from the edge of the river. Away from the main river it is possible to walk amongst smaller streams, natural pools and rapids.
