Landing Site of Megamouth Shark 11 (Cagayan de Oro)

In 1998, three fishermen from this area ventured out into Macajalar Bay and caught a male megamouth, the 11th in the world at that time. It was the first recorded specimen in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. For details, see megamouth.elizaga.net/11.
