"Since June 2008, The Gathering Place at Darlington Lake has been welcoming guests to experience all that the countryside has to offer. Prior to opening their doors as a bed and breakfast, Owners Ed and Annie Knotts hosted a number of “gatherings” at their real log cabin home and their visitors started calling it “The Gathering Place.” Years later, when the couple decided to become a bed and breakfast for overnight guests, the name choice was an obvious one.

The Gathering Place is where elegance and comfort meet, and guests have often remarked how cozy and warm The Gathering Place is for its size. Besides offering fishing and pedal boats on-site, The Gathering Place is also located only 35 minutes from great shopping at The Prime Outlets at Grove City and is in close proximity to seven golf courses.
