Behind the Cathedral, in the Arges Monastery Park, is the Episcopal Palace, built between 1886-1890 and used as a royal summer residence.
This is a beautiful building, symmetrically in relation to the axis of the Cathedral, having in the center the chapel, with the bell tower.
It was built by King Carol I, the late nineteenth century, German-style.
