Great Courland Bay

Forming a sweeping curve south of the town of Plymouth, Great Courland Bay has an attractive stretch of golden sands and is next door to Stone Haven Bay. Nearby attractions include Black Rock, where the ruins of Fort Bennett enjoy panoramic views across the local vicinity. Buccoo Reef, a little further south, provides easy access for divers and snorkellers and is home to Nylon Pool where the reef forms a lagoon no deeper than seven feet. The Grafton Caledonia Bird Sanctuary offers nature trails nearby and golfer’s can enjoy a round at the Mount Irvine Course.
