One of the first tenants of what was Pontiac Mall, this Montgomery Ward remained until the chain's bankruptcy in December 2000 and closing in early 2001. It was proposed to be demolished for an indoor waterpark as part of a renovation of the mall, but that did not end up happening, and it was demolished with the rest of the mall in 2009.
