Barbuda has a population of only about 1500. As a tourist destination, it offers a limited choice of lodgings--very expensive resorts on the beaches (two open at this writing) or several very modest guest houses in Codrington, far from the beaches; dining options are also limited. What it offers to all is hospitality and miles of beautiful beaches all to yourself. The unofficial web site is informative, but not always up-to-date. Some of the descriptions of facilities include wishful thinking.

    Place got wrecked by Hurricane Irma 09/06/2017. 90-95% of all structures on the Island are destroyed.
