Known colloquially as "Camp Read", this scout reservation is owned by the Westchester-Putnam Council, BSA. During the summer, three camps operate on the reservation; Camp Buckskin, which is the largest of the camps and is centered around a dining hall; Camp Waubeeka, which offers a more patrol-based program in which patrols cook their own meals; and Summit Base Camp, which offers and facilitates treks throughout the Adirondacks.
