One of the oldest temple in Thane. It was reconstructed By ChimajiAppa (Younger brother of Peshwa Thorle Bajirao. The shrine of Shiva (Shiv Linga) is around 5 ft. in height & about 4 - 4.5 feet in Diameter.
The temple dates back to many centuries as it is visible from the construction, carvings on columns etc. It also has a very big figure of 'Nandi' ( A bull who carries the lord around) which is about 6-7 ft long & 5 ft tall.

    Shrine of Shiva i.e. Shivalinga placed here may be the biggest in India. It is 5 ft tall & equal in diameter. You can't embrace it. It is indid very old & must to visit place in Thane. The Lake seen nearby 'Masunda Lake' was spread upto this lake until 1950 s. What a beatiful sight it must have been!
