park, forest
Lambertseterskogen is the largest forest of Lambertseter. It used to be under the administration of the borough named Lambertseter, which was a fedreative union between Lambertseter and Karlsrud(founded in 1988), but ever since the Lambertseter borough was conquered by the Nordstrand borough in 2004, it has been under the administration of the Nordstrand borough council. Some settlers from Nordstrand have made a settlement in the far south end of the forest, but otherwise the reservate remains mostly free of any building activity.
The forest has an uplit path for joggers and others who want to enjoy the nature. This can be practical especially in the winter when the sun goes down as early as 5pm and sometimes even earlier. Many locations inside the forest are subject of local legends etc. Some of these are marked on the map (see for example Lightning Rock.)
