370-foot, 28-story International-style mixed-use building completed in 1965 as an office building. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it's ground floor is recessed behind an arcade of black polished granite piers. The upper floors have narrow stainless steel bands running vertically between the dark-tinted windows, and dark-grey metal spandrels between floors. There are major setbacks on the Wall and Front Street elevations at the 6th and 11th floors. The mechanical floors at the top of the building are clad in the same dark-grey metal as seen on the spandrels, with the silver vertical bands reaching the roof line.

Following superstorm Sandy, the upper floors were converted to so-called micro apartments in 2015 to cater to TAMI tenants seeking affordable housing in the city. Residents will share some kitchen facilities like stoves and ovens, and benefit from amenities like herb gardens and arcades. The conversion project is led by WeWork Housing.
