This is single/two storey traditional building constructed in the nineteen-twenties and expanded in later decades by one local bonafied farmer, Mr. Jalap Ram Tanwar. It is made of local mud, stone, wood and covered with galvanized iron sheets roofing material, suiting to the then economical and environmental conditions. Now, his fifth generation persons(son-95 years old, grandsons, great grandsons and great-great grand sons) are also living in the same well maintained spacious house. It is on the way to state govt's zoo and Balashram, the land marks of the locality. In the old days, one had to go on foot only from this place to the main Shimla. Mules used to be mode of goods transport. Then it was connected by a steeply high moving jeepable road to Shimla-Kalka highway, intersecting at Railway Tunnel No.103. Now it is directly linked to recently constructed and operated ISBT (Tuti Kandi),Shimla. God bless the house and the occupant generations.
The place is located in JALAPOO HOUSE
