THE BELMONTE UNDERPASS

In 1940, the cornerstone to the Quezon City Memorial Circle was laid. Sixty seven years hence, this first underground pathway to this remarkable park was built, opening its entrance in the month of this City’s birth, On October 2, 2007. This is the first underpass in the entire City and marks the first of the grand steps of MAYOR FELICIANO BELMONTE, JR. to transform and restore the Circle as the true Central Park of Quezon City.
