Bathed in the floodwaters of the Garonne river, this meadow has a surprising history. Once a runway, then a rugby training ground, it was used to grow vegetables during the war and went on to became an area of relaxation and festivities.

The construction of the Cours Dillon dyke in the late seventies finally brought about the creation of one of the city's most popular parks, which now serves as a venue for a number of events, including the traditional Bastille Day fireworks and the Rio Loco festival.

It is also an ideal spot for those who enjoy impressive landscapes since it offers exceptional views of the city. www.uk.toulouse-tourisme.com/walks-and-exploring-the-pr...
