Middle-sized, middle-class, middle-income mall in middle-sized, middle-class, middle-income Mesa, Arizona. Flanked on three sides by retirement communities. It is a running joke among mall employees that ambulances in this neighborhood should not have sirens -- only a man sitting on the roof, ringing a gong and shouting "BRING OUT YER DEAD!"

  • I have lived here for over 5 years and while there are a few wild cats, there are no where near what is stated here! No more here than anyplace else in the valley I have lived. I personally am involved in the catch/fix/release program and have seen the population go down some in my direct area just s/e of the mall. As far as being the only mall in north america that doesn't have rats...that is a stupid comment...no one can know that unless an extensive amount of money was spent to do the research. Use your head people!
