The monument consists of a small pedestal in front of a wall. On the pedestal it reads:
"This memorial honours the 329 passengers and crew who perished in the bombing of Air Indian Flight 182 on June 23rd 1985 at 07.13 GMT. off the coast of Ireland, and the two baggage handlers killed at the associated bombing at Narita Airport in Japan on that day. This act of terrorism is a Canadian tragedy, planned and executed on Canadian soil. The government of Canada has declared June 23rd to be a national day of remembrance for victims of terrorism."
The wall has the names of the victims. On the right hand side of the wall the following is etched:
"Time flies. Suns rise and shadows fall. Let it pass by. Love reigns forever over all."
