IVERSON, a village in Twin Lakes Township, section 5, had a station of the Northern Pacific Railroad and a post office, 1909-27, operated by postmaster, Joseph P. Pfeifer, in his general store. The station was named by the Northern Pacific Railroad company for Ole Iverson, a pioneer settler there.
