In early 90s, thousands of students had to go outside Gujarat to pursue Higher Education. Concept of self-financed institution was not popular among students and parents in Gujarat. One visionary & Industrious man dreamed of establishing self-financed academic institutions offering degee/ diploma/ post-graduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Management & Paramedical Science to enable deserving students of Gujarat gain quality education in Gujarat. Under the capable leadership of Dr. J.K. Patel, an eminent edupreneur, Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Trust established the first self-financed institute of Gujarat- Ahmadabad Homoeopathic Medical College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The success story didn’t simply end there. Soon, trustees of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal initiated other professional courses in Engineering, Management, Computer Application, Architecture, Pharmacy, Ayurved, Physiotherapy, Nursing & Homoeopathy etc. At present, Parul University is a leading educational institute of repute offering Under Graduate/ Post Graduate programs in Engineering, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy, Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Nursing, Physiotherapy etc. at three premium locations- Ahmedabad, Vadodara & Rajkot. In recognition of our commitment to the cause of spreading education for the social upliftment, the Government of Gujarat has conferred “Private University Status” to all academic institutions of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal under Gujarat Private University Act 2009 in the name & style of “ Parul University” . All our 16 academic institutions will be incorporated under the ambit of “ Parul University” from the academic session 2015-16.
