  • Notorious as the murder scene of Pamela Hastie in 1981 - which led to one of Scotland's most infamous miscarriages of justice, later overturned. Her murderer has still not been brought to justice. There is at least one Polish Paratrooper buried here, who died as a result of an accident during the Second World War.
