    This castle was my greatgrand fathers castle, he inheritied but lost it when he moved to America.

    The castle is now a Tower Once owned by Houstoun family as they made thier fortune in international good exchange. It was sold by Renfrewshire Council for £1 and now is slowly being renovated and will stand for another 500 years

    My great grandfather recieved a phone call from Ireland. He did not answer, his son did. His response was, " What is a 95 year old man going to do with a castle." I wish he would have communicated with family before he gave up a family heirloom!
