I hearty Welcome you on visiting this village !!!
First of all knowing the meaning of village name would be good and I am pretty sure that you would be able to forge an image of the village. As name suggest "RAJPUR" = RAJA+PUR. Raja means King and Pur denotes the place...... This means kings live in this village rest guess.. we will come to it :)
Rajpur is a small village in Mahwa Tehsil of Dausa District in Rajasthan(India).Three nearest towns from this village are Mahwa(15 Km),Mandawar(13) and Kherli(18 Km). Scenario of village is same as typical indian small villages only one Primary school(Student teacher ratio is very good 10:1, don't be surprised if number of teachers are only 1 or 2 ) and one grocery store and if anybody needs more than this he must has to approach nearest big village Khonkar or near towns.Farming is the main source of livelihood.Rajpur was a family before 100 years but now it is tending to change in a typical village. Now almost every family has good facility of water and everyone lives in house's made by stone, cement forgetting dung and soil. You can guess progress of village by not finding a single unemployed person age more than 16 yrs (I am the only unemployed person age more than 19yrs in village when I go to village finding out a bowler so i can enjoy batting is a really tediuos task. Lot's of holiday's without enjoying with coeval but Rajpur village has some unique properties also.
Villager's hobbies are quite interesting they can't live peacefully. GOD's mercy on people is so much that they have enough money for donating to Advocates, Policemen and Doctors(fights are boring until both the side don't bath with the blood of each other and why not at all the blood flowing in the veins of the Rajput villagers is same as Prushottam Ram and Great warrior Maharana Pratap(Both Suryavanshi) only difference is they fought for enriching the truth and in my village this is for some interesting issues). For some people's no matter how much land they owned but they can't feel delectation until they couldn't increase their field's area 5-10msqr/yr. Another very interesting hobby indigent are not dismal by their own problems rather they feel uncomfortable by others headway.GOD please give sanity to this village so they can live peacefully. I fogot to mention . I am sure you must have heard about the auction of many items but Don't be amazed if I say that in my village and nearby villages you can easily see auction of a young man it's not all, Owesome fact is that more the amount young man get more his family feels delectation.

You can find an owesome picnic place in the nearby village area in the rainy season. It's just an amezing beauty when everywhere greenry and pecock dances on the roofs.
All the houses in the village are on the periphery so you can easily enjoy beauty spread in the fields. When we used to go to school in rainy season generally we were the victim of the sudden attack of the rain and we always enjoyed this attack. I just remember the lines of Gazal "Ye daulat bhi le lo, ye shohrat bhi le lo ........" . After all the soil of village has our footprints and those sweet memories which can't be get from any other place in world.
Love You.... Love You... My Birthland.
Only two castes are in village Kalyanot Rajputs and few families of schedule castes.
