Fatiapur is a small village with about 100 HHs and people are from same community. It has a small talia in North West and a large pond called "Badauan" in south. It is well connected by Behta Gokul Railway station (about 8 kms) through Tanga (Horse cart). This village comes under Sandhinawa Gram Panchyat and fall under Hariyanwan Police station. Nearest post office is Kurseli.

This Village has one primary school upto only 5th class. After completing primary school children go to next nearest school (upto 10 class), which is about 4 kms. Due to this many of the girl child used to discontinue their education after primary education but Zow things are changing and people have started sending their child for schooling. People in the village are generally religious and god fearing. You may not find any temple kind of structure in the entire village but at the entrance of village there is a Sacred tree, to which all the villagers pray and believe that one of the god "Dane baba" lives there to protect them from all the problems.

The main economic activity is agriculture. Key crops are Wheat, Rice, Jawar, Arhar dal and sugarcane etc. Badauan pond is famous for fishing, In summer season it gets filled with Pink lotus and if you are lucky you may spot few migratory birds also.
