The main source of income for the peoples is through agriculture.The main crops includes Jowar, SunFlower ,Tur,Moong,SugerCane.

    it is significant to note that the amberites community has procured one 300 kg and five feet statue of budha fron the nation of Thailand in August 2005. So far this statue is concerned, it was propose this place of budha where it is presently insalled may be decleared as one of the tourist centre by the governement of Maharashtra. The prominanat figure Dr D T Gaikwad who is the resident of Ashta Kasar is trying to hardship to make this place as one of the attractive point for tourists. Basically, it was to be ingurated by the chief minster of maharashtra, but due to some reason, and local politics, it was cancelled.
