Eastern Industries, Inc., Shamokin Quarry and Asphalt Plant are located on the southeast edge of the city of Shamokin, one mile south of State Route 61, on State Route 901 in southern Northumberland County. This facility markets crushed sandstone, and asphalt paving materials throughout southern Northumberland, Montour, and Columbia counties, as well as western Schuylkill counties.
Located on a northern ridge of Mahanoy Mountain in Coal Township, Northumberland County, the Shamokin Quarry has been producing PaDOT aggregates since 1969, when Faylor-Middlecreek opened the reserve with a portable crushing plant.
