Astronomical Center Hispanic-German "Calar Alto"

The astronomical Center Hispanic-German "Calar Alto" is located in the Mountain range of the Filabres, to the north of Almeria. It is operated jointly by the Institute Max Planck for Astronomy of Heidelberg, Germany and the Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia in Granada. It has three telescopes with openings of 1,23 ms, 2,2 m.s, 3.5m. and a telescope Schmidt. The Station of Observation of Calar Alto (EOCA) pertaining to the National Astronomical observatory (OAN) has a telescope of 1,5 meters.
