Northern Light Resort was established in 1973. Northern Light is family owned and has been operated for over 35 years by the Miller family. Northern Light Resort is located on the beautiful Northern Light Lake, 93 miles west of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, at the end of HWY 588. We are approximately 7 hours from Minneapolis and 4 hours from Duluth and from Grande Portage Border Crossing on HWY 61, it is approximately 70 miles back along the border to Northern Light Lake.
