Matsue English Garden is located on the shores of Lake Shinji, and boasts over 500 species of plants. Matsue English Garden is of the same scale, arrangement, and style of a traditional English garden. There's an outdoor rest area, fountain plaza, sunken garden, indoor garden, "white" garden, pergola, cloister courtyard, landscape garden, rose terrace, and laburnum arch. The garden and neighbouring building has festivals, concerts and other events throughout the year.
