The Hadum Mosque was built by Hadum Sylejman Efendia in the last decade of the 16th century, respectively from 1594 to 1595. Structurally wise, it belongs to the Classical Ottoman era, whereas the school close by was influenced from the local architecture.
The mosque used to be part of a complex comprised from a madrasah, a library and shops that were destroyed during the 1999 Kosovo War.
The Hadum Mosque is a single-dome structure, with a porch and minaret located in the south-western corner. Rich in murals with floral motives, it displays examples of Ottoman baroque art.
