The area is a part of highly sheared and faulted zone of the Katrol Fault zone. The shearing falls along the transverse fault to the E-W Katrol Hill Fault. Worth visiting site for structural geologists who study the strains and stress in rocks and their styles of deformations (Rep: Dr. M. G. Thakkar)
