  • Saint Mirren moved to Greenhill Road some years ago and their old site is now home to a supermarket. St James's Park near to Abbotsinch Airport is known locally as the Racecourse as horse racing took place here in the 1800's until a stand collapsed and many people were killed. The "Silver Bells" is the oldest known racing trophy anywhere and was raced for here. The trophy is on display at Paisley Museum
