Park built in 1973, atop underground parking. Named for Hugh O'Bryant, first mayor of Portland.

The park is somewhat run down, with a large fountain that hasn't worked in a few years. Was popular among homeless population until covered shelters were removed recently.

Supposedly will be completely renovated / redesigned within the next few years.

  • This has also been known as "Paranoia Park" by the local homless and drug dealers due to the fact that the FBI is located in an adjacent building and had placed cameras all around the park to monitor local activities.
  • Other reason it's called "Paranoia Park" -- Tweakers and crackheads are known to be pretty paranoid.
