In the summer of 2011 not yet paved, but already with 100 or more km/h high-fill navigable unusually wide roadway.
Funded by the German development aid highway replaces, the very low volume of traffic in this desert region (4 cars in 6 hours in July 2001) sufficient, previous track. It goes from Zagora, first by far one of the last remaining wilderness areas untouched by humans, the catchment area of El Qued Fargh at the foot of Jbel Adalane. In this gravel plain with no vegetation / buildings or power poles live in Morocco, the endangered black desert cobras, which are now finally come under the wheels.
