HMS Scotia is the principal Royal Naval Reserve unit for the entire eastern and northern parts of Scotland. It is based within MOD Caledonia, a small Royal Navy Support Establishment at Rosyth. Its reservists get fantastic opportunities to learn about the Royal Navy, thanks to the nearby former Rosyth Royal Dockyard now known as Rosyth Business Park. HMS Scotia also has a satellite unit, Tay Division in Dundee, which maintains close links with its Rosyth unit.
