B Company is the Company of 6 SCOTS that covers the area of Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway. The Company has Army Reserve Centres in Ayr and Dumfries. In Ayr, is the Company Headquarters and two Rifle Platoons, whilst in Dumfries here there is a Mortar Platoon, which provides the Battalion with indirect fire support with its 81mm Mortars.
