The floating crane pontoons at these jetties are used principally for the loading and off-loading of R-29 SLBMs onto Delta III Class SSBNs of the 25th Submarine Division. The photos show the Delta III Class SSBNs (i) K-211 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy only very recently de-commissioned, and (ii) K-44 Ryazan still on active service, alongside at this jetty.
