Home to the tanks and other armor of 1/64 Armor and all supporting units of the 13OCT1993 Quick Reactionary Force (QRF). This compound was made from an old Russian missile factory by the 43rd Engineers on their second deployment. There was a tempoary base set up across the street before this was set up. Victory was basicly a tent city & armor motor pool, it was known for having few ammenities. I lived here for five months. Most of the armor here was delivered to Mogadishu by the USNS Denebola by way of Fort Stewart, Ga. to the Suez Canal then south.
