National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC) was, set up by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in 1970, with the aim to collect and disseminate information on all fields in social science to the social science research community in the country. The primary objective of the NASSDOC is to provide library and information support services to social science researchers. It is considered to be one of the largest repositories of bibliographical resources in the area of social sciences.
