  This hill in Khadir is know as "Hadabhadang Hill" wher Brother Of HADAMBA and brother in Law of BHIM was staying. It is 270+ (890 feet) meters ay presently by satellite reading. But actual survey contour Topomaps of military survey showing height of 927 feet (282.5M)(per-independence). so in last century it lowered nearly 37 feet =11.25 M From: kutchsciencefoundation@hotmail.com Dear Friends of History, Nature, Science and geology, I wrote this email 2years ago, and was waiting for a feedback from science lovers, and recently published news of Gujarat coastline slowly going under sea water inspired me to send this information again to you all. The document sent is to learn that Kutch land is slowly submerging into the sea!. Though AS THERE ARE MANY FACTORS INVOLVED IN REDUCING THE HEIGHT AS SAID IN EMAIL. AND ACTUAL RATE OF GOING DOWN IS CONSIDERABLY QUITE LAW AND TAKES QUITE A LONG TIME IN MANY THOUSANDS OF YEARS. 1) satellite height is also dropping from time to time to give minute few centimeters errors at present satellite height readings. AND SATELLITE READING BECOME ONLY POPULAR IN LAST DECADE ONLY, EVEN 5CM /YEAR CAN GIVE ERRORS OF 1/2 METERS HEIGHT REDUCTION IN JUST LAST DECADE ONLY. 2) Earthquakes, LIKE HAPPENS QUIRE REGULARLY SAY couple IN A CENTURY. 3) Wind POWERFUL FACTOR BLOWING SANDS FROM HEIGHT. 4-5) Weather and Rain washing layers from height may be few centimeters MAY BE QUITE REGULAR WASH UP 6) MAN MADE ACTIVITY QUITE CONSIDERABLE AND SOME PARTS MAINLY DUE TO THIS REASON ONLY 7) ACTUAL RISING THE SEA LEVEL AND WASHING THE SHORE LINE OF GUJARAT MAY BE BIGGER FACTOR EG 1/2 " /YEAR !! RAYAN WAS A PORT BEFORE AND MAY BE IN FUTURE AGAIN AND SIMILARLY TUNA BANDAR NEAR MUNDARAAND SO ON, IN NORTH LAKHPAT BANDAR, LUNA BANDAR, GUNTALI BANDAR ETC. Some times we may ignore some facts and some time we deliberately neglect the facts but nature does its work and we can not close our eyes to those facts. In last 10000 years nearly 1/4 area of Gujarat coastal line has undergone the sea water including CAMBAY civilisation cities 9000BC. here I attach a map, we clearly can see the shallow sea of coastal areas of KUTCH Gujarat and west coast of India. Not only that but whole of the bay of KUTCH was land area and River SARASWATI was flowing trough the present RANN of KUTCH (was a fresh water reservoir of INDO-SARASWATI river), going to the NAL SAROVAR AND to the CAMBAY (Fertile land and city submerged civilisation area of the CAMBAY) to the ARABIAN SEA. ALSO it is clearly marked, At that time RIVER SINDHU was flowing in the submerged land area of SINDHU RIVER CANYON presently submerged under the Arabian sea waters near SINDHU river mouth in Arabian sea. and RIVER GANGA was flowing in the submerged land area of GANGA RIVER CANYON presently submerged under the sea waters BAY OF BANGOLE near GANGA RIVER Mouth in BAY OF BANGOLE. Kutch means Tortoise (KACHBO) original last known place is near Africa joined to Madagascar and Africa and Australia in Gondwanaland around 250 Mn years ago. Though Sea level has risen few inches since last half century due to melting Ice but not such an extent to show the Huge difference of height from sea level. SIMILARLY satellite height is also dropping from time to time to give minute few centimetres errors at present satellite height readings, But an average KUTCH LAND has gone down approximately 40 feet all over (E- W – N and South) which is remarkable difference of about 8 to 10 inches /year. Earthquakes, Wind Weather and Rain washing layers from height may be few centimetres/ year but still 6 to 8 inches of height is decreasing /year. We did not kept records year by year But now We need to keep an eye on future readings, to see what’s happening to land of Kutch, whether Kutch is going back to sea waters? Since then it has moved north with the Indian continental plate and from time to tine the area has been going up and down the sea water and so we get all different stage of marine fossils and also land animals and vegetative fossils in-between periods of marine fossils.. Its said in beliefs of people of Kutch and also in Purans that Kutch is been under sea waters for seven times and has come out again! Different time level Marine fossils in Kutch and LAND vegetation fossil in the in-between periods Early carboniferous Lycopsid fossil has been sited in the layers of underneath Jurassic ammonite layers (More detailed information will be sent on request) Early Devonian vegetative fossils has been spotted in deeper layers of black hills underneath layers of marine fossil layers in the top. Similarly North Khadir Hills has many giant Lycopsid tree trunks and younger marine fossils in Upper layers of Hills Merula Spendis generally not found in Kutch but at one place it has been seen in Deep under layers of Tapakeshwari hills waterfall area during visit with Dr SHRIGARPURE in 2007 also samples of trilobites have been collected from Nakhtrana river.
