Bahe's Maruti is one of eleven established by Samarth Ramdas Swami.

The deity Maruti (also known as Hanuman) is the God of strength, intelligence and knowledge. Samarth Ramdas Swami, a great devotee of Shri Ram and Hanuman, was himself believed to be a rebirth of Hanuman. He travelled across the entire country and used his knowledge, experience and acquired celestial powers to influence the minds of the public towards devotion of Shri Ram, and to teach them to strive for the strength that Maruti, Shri Ram’s devotee. While traversing the country, he established a temple of Shri Maruti in innumerable villages. Among these, eleven temples of Shri Maruti have a special significance since these eleven temples are believed to be Jagrut . All these eleven temples are located on the banks of the River Krishna. Samarth Ramdas awakened the desire for courage and strength in the people by setting them on the path of devotion towards Maruti.

  • बहे येथील रामलिंग बेट वाळ्वे तालुक्यातील बहे येथील रामलिंग बेट नागरिकाचे श्रध्दास्थान व पर्यटनस्थळ म्हणून सांगली जिल्हयात प्रसिध्द आहे. इस्लामपुरापासून तेरा किलोमीटर अंतरावर बहेलगत कृष्णा नदीच्या पात्रात हे रामलिंग बेट आहे.बेटावर चिंच, वड,पिंपळ,जाभूळ व इतर फुलझाडे यांसारख्या वृक्षवेलीनी परिसर सुशोभित आहे. लंकेहून परत येताना श्रीरमचंद्र कृष्णा स्नानासाठी या ठिकाणी उतरले जवळच असलेल्या शिरटे गावात सीतामाई स्नानासाठी राहिल्या.श्रीरामांनी स्नान करून तेथे शिवलिंग स्थापले.शिवलिंगाची पूजा चालू असताना कृष्णेस उल्हास येऊन ती गर्जना करू लागली हनुमान जवळच उभे होते.महापुर येतोय असे पाहून त्यांनी नदीला आलेले पाणी दोन्ही बाहुनी थोपावले अशी आख्यायिका आहे. कृष्णा नदीला महापूर आल्याचार बेटाकडे जाण्याचे सर्व मार्ग बंद होतात. अंत्यत रमणीय परिसरामुळे नागरिकंना विरंगुळ्याचे ठिकाण म्हणून विकसित करण्यासाठी या बेटाचा पर्यटन स्थळ म्हणून विकास करण्याची योजना राज्य शासनाने हाती घेतली आहे.यासाठी सहा कोटी ६८ लाख रुपयांचा निधी मंजूर केला आहे यापैकी पहिला हप्ता म्हणून शासनाने दोन कोटी रुपये दिले आहेत. बेटवर येणार्‍या पर्यटकांना नौकाविहाराचा आनंद लुटता यावा, यासाठी बोटिंगची व्यवस्था करण्यात येणार आहे. या बेटावर वर्षभर धार्मिक उत्सव सुरू असतात.पौष आमवस्येला मोठी यात्रा भरते .चैत्र पौर्णिमेला हनुमान जयंती असे उत्सव साजरे केले जातात. वाळवे तालुक्याबरोबरच जिल्हा व शेजारच्या जिल्हातून या बेटाला भेटी देण्यासाठी नागरिकाची वर्दळ असते. एक दिवसाची छोटी सहल आयोजित करण्यासाठी हे ठिकाण रमणीय व निसर्गसौदर्याने संपन्न आहे.
  • श्रीक्षेत्र बहे - बोरगाव कृष्णा नदीच्या किनारी बोरगावजवळ बहे हे गाव आहे. त्यामुळे या ठिकाणाला बहे - बोरगाव म्हणतात. बहे-बोरगांवचा मारुती हे एक जागृत देवस्थान आहे. इथली मूर्ती ही भव्य असून मूर्तीच्या डोक्यावर उंच मुकुट आहे. कृष्णा नदीच्या प्रवाहात ‘रामलिंग’ नावाचे एक प्राचीन बेट आहे. या बेटावर राममंदिर आहे. या राममंदिराच्या पाठीमागेच मारुतीची स्थापना शके १५७३ मध्ये समर्थांनी केलेली आहे. मंदिर अतिशय प्रसन्न व निसर्गरम्य ठिकाणी आहे. रावणवध करून परत येत असताना राम-लक्ष्मण यांनी बहे या गावी मुक्काम केला असे म्हटले जाते. भक्तिरसाने भरलेले भीमरूपी स्तोत्र समर्थांना याच मारुतीचे ध्यान करीत असताना सुचले असेही म्हटले जाते. समर्थांनी स्थापन केलेल्या ११ मारुतींपैकी निसर्गसृष्टीने बहरलेला व अगदी रम्य असा इथला परिसर आहे. मारुती मंदिराबरोबरच या कृष्णा नदीत अनेक लहान-लहान बेटे व अनेक समाधी इथे आहेत. कृष्ण-माहात्म्यात ‘बाहुक्षेत्र’ असा या स्थानाचा उल्लेख आढळतो. या बेटापासून ‘मच्छिंद्र’ गड जवळच आहे.
  • This place has its own sacred value and story. Bahe Borgaon is near walwa, when Prabhu Shri Ramchandra was seating for Meditation, there was a big flood occured on River Krishna due to this the Meditation of Shri Prabhu Ramchandra would have been disturbed. At the same time to avoid the disturbance in the Meditation Shri Hanuman spread his both hands and obstructed the flow of river and diverted the path of river water on both side of his hands. This is an ancient heard story. Because of this one island was formed, where Idol of Shri Hanuman spreading both his hands and obstructing the river water is here and is a sacred and faith places for the devotees. Samarth Ramdas installed the Maruti idol here in 1651 behind the Ram temple. The temple is in an extremely pleasant and salubrious location. It is said that Ram and Laxman rested briefly in the village Bahe on their way back from slaying Ravan. It is also said that Samarth Ramdas was inspired to write the BhimRoopi Stotra filled with devotion while he was contemplating on this Maruti. Among all the eleven Maruti installed by Samarth, this Maruti is located at the most beautiful location. Along with the Maruti temple, there are many small islands and Samadhi located here. The Macchindra fort is located close by. The tome Krishan-Mahatma refers to this place as BahuKshetra (place of strength). Bahe’s Maruti is one of eleven established by Samarth Ramdas Swami.
